The daily shots from the local forest will continue for the moment, and I’ll include other photographs from my collection to provide a wider view of the world and its wonders.
Share on social media to reach more people stuck indoors due to Covid-19. Between us, we might even restore some love and respect for nature and help slow down the damage we inflict on our world. Thank you.

All photographs on this site are my own, unless otherwise credited. You’ll find more of my pictures, here. And there’s a small sample of my work under the ‘Gallery’ tab at the top of this page.
I love that sun flare through the trees.

Thanks, Denise. It even made me say ‘Wow!’ when I first pulled up the picture on my PC to edit it!

Thanks, Lynette. A few minutes later and the mist had gone, so I was lucky to be there at the right time.

Both spectacular photos, Stuart. I assumed it was silt in the water that browned it up!

Love that picture of the sun filtered through the trees. The beach scene looks like the water is brown. Is it a lake rather than the ocean?

Thanks, Brenda.
The seaside town of Minehead lies at the far end of a large estuary; the River Severn, so a lot of silt flows past. But the water is moslty sea water from the Bristol Channel that runs into the southern end of the Irish Sea where it joins with the Atlantic Ocean; the silt just colours it.
