‘Walking is the favorite sport of the good and wise.’ A. L. Rowse
With the daily shot from my local forest walks, I’m including another shot of the wider world, not always entirely ‘natural’, to satisfy those who love to see some water in the pictures.

Share these posts on social media with friends and followers and we’ll reach more people. It’ll also show off our wonderful world. Who knows, between us, we might even restore some love and respect for nature and slow down the daily damage we inflict on our environment? Thank you.
If you enjoy my pictures, you’ll find many more in my professional gallery, here. A small selection is also available via the ‘Gallery’ tab at the top of this page.

I don’t know about being good or wise. I try. 😉

Lovely my friend. I am looking forward to next week. Sending you two hugs. That piece of wood on the beach was an interesting little addition. The forest has my heart as you know. Hugs 🤗 Joni

Me, too, Joni.
That post I found on a beach in North Devon. My guess is it was originally used as a way of holding a small fishing boat on the beach. But I loved the weathered look of it; like a character delivered to the land by the sea.
