Beautiful colours! The leaves in the second photo almost look like gold coins.

Thanks, Lynette. The forest is home to lots of beech trees and they provide a lovely range of colours as they slowly change in the autumn. The leaves on our hazel trees also tend to turn golden; they’re mostly bare now, and we rarely see any nuts, as the squirrels feast on them!
