Yesterday, we visited the nearby spot known as Cannop Ponds. This is actually an area with a couple of small lakes, used for fishing and the enjoyment of walkers. The weather was about as ideal as it can be at this time of the year and I took a lot of photographs. I’m therefore posting some of these over the next few days, as the first one produced positive feedback. I hope you enjoy these.
If you’re visiting here, please be generous to those who can’t escape their own four walls at present, and share this widely with them on social media, so they can enjoy it. Thank you.
I really like your beautiful blog. A pleasure to come stroll on your pages. A great discovery and a very interesting blog. I will come back to visit you. Do not hesitate to visit my universe. See you soon. 🙂

Gorgeous my friend. What a beautiful day you two had. Lovely lake with the trees still full of leaves. I would love to have had a big red bobber a cane pole and some worms. I would have sat there all day.
Question for you my friend. My husband and I both want to know where I can find a dress like Luce wore in the mall. Wow, amazing imagination. I want two of those please, and by the way my husband has a sudden craving for chocolate. Great stuff my friend, seriously, love your style, and the dialogue is very entertaining.
You two have a great evening my friends. Hugs and love to you both. 💕❤️Joni

Sorry, Joni, that dress will have to wait: they haven’t been invented yet, except in my mind, of course!
Chocolate craving, eh? I wonder what inspired that?
As for the fishing, Joni, you could always join that old guy, bottom right, bending over his fishing gear.

I saw the guy in the picture. I was wondering if he might have seen you about to take a photograph and so he was trying to be polish to and hide. Too bad about that dress. Great concept too. It made me think of a mood ring, and other things, don’t want to give too much away. That was great. Hope you two have a great day. Love and hugs. 🤗💕❤️Joni

No, Joni, he was entirely unaware of us, as evidenced by the fact he almost jumped out of his skin when I greeted him as we passed by!

How funny. I bet he did if he didn’t see you at all. Sounds like my kind of fishing partner. I fished when I was little at one of the safer places I could go. Hugs 🤗 love u 2

It looks like your trees are just starting to turn. Up here (above 60° N lat), ours have departed, carried away by a wind storm. Looks like you had a beautiful fall day.

It was one of those autumn days that make you glad to be alive, Lynette. Mild, but carrying a light wind with an edge, and bright sunshine occasionally shaded by thin cloud. We’re expecting change here, of course. This island of ours rarely has settled weather, and we’re experiencing more extremes as the climate changes. The leaves are starting to turn; just isolated trees for now, but it won’t be long before we get a real colour change.
