That is so pretty. Reminds me of many similar-looking areas in British Columbia.

It’s in the northern Italian mountains, Lynette, so I suppose there’s bound to be some similarity. Glad it raised memories for you.

Gorgeously I would love to be sunbathing on that lovely island. So beautifully photographed. Love y’all 🤗💕❤️Joni

You’d be private, except for when the ferry (the boat we were on) passed by, Joni. And the sun would be lovely and warm when this was taken, end of September.

So lovely my friend. How wonderful that sounds. I am so glad you two got to vacation this year. It s so dreamy where you live. Everyday must feel a bit like a vacation. Love to you both. Take excellent care of each other. Hugs 💖🤗💕Joni

We visited some local ponds (small lakes, really) today, walked around the muddy tracks at their edges. Bright autumn sunshine sparkled on the water and backlit the slowly turning leaves of oak and birch. For much of the walk we were on our own, with just an occasional fisherman to pass with a quiet greeting. Wonderful! And it’s only a four mile drive away. We are so fortunate.

Beautiful scene – I would like to be swimming to it!

The lake is used for swimming in lots of locations along the shore, Noelle. It’s a mountain lake, so I’m not sure how warm the water would be, but I know you’re not put off by such considerations.
