So beautiful, Lynette. I really like the second one. It’s very hot here today and looks like more of the same coming up.

Thank you, anotherday2paradise. But I think you intended this comment for Lynette’s reblog of my post, which she’s been doing to share these pictures.

Right now, our weather is threatening a rain of mosquitoes. They are really, really bad this year.

We only rarely see mosquitoes, Lynette. Not enough standing water to encourage them. But we get whopping horse flies, which can give a nasty bite.
Take care and stay well.

We at least don’t get horseflies.

Very warm for you! Next week I am taking holidays for about a month and heading to B.C. – it will average about 33-34C, but we will spend quite a bit of time next to one of the big lakes. 🙂
Lovely photos, especially the second one. 🙂

Thanks, Lynette.
Enjoy your holiday. Valerie would love those temperatures. And our daughter currently lives in Darwin, Australia, where such temperatures as your BC ones are common.
The high 20s will do for me!

Thank you. I’m also more comfortable with 30 or so, but the reality it that it does get quite hot. The spring and autumn months are really wonderful, though.

Different on the Greek islands. They have temperatures in the 30s most of summer, but the breezes off the Mediterranean make it much more comfortable. It’s very warm again here today; lunch in the garden, which is nice.

Don’t think we’ll get one today. I looked out of the window to check after reading your comment, Lynette. Grey skies, threatening rain. But I was rewarded by the flight of a heron as it crossed the valley!
