Progress on the WIP: #SciFi in the Making.

This weekend sees the annual science fiction and fantasy shindig in Hull. Fantasticon 2017 is on course to be the best yet. I’ll be there signing copies of War Over Dust and meeting readers as well as fans of all types of gaming in a splendid venue. I’m also partaking in a talk with another science fiction author, Drew Wagar, on our approaches to development of characters and worlds in our science fiction and fantasy books.

It’s not often a writer has the opportunity to meet readers face to face, and this is an event where I’ve met many very generous and fully engaged book lovers in the past, so I’m looking forward to the trip. If you’re in the Hull area of East Yorkshire, England, on 2nd or 3rd September, please pop along. Tickets will be on sale at the door and there’s a huge amount to see and do. Here’s a link to the FaceBook page for the event, where you’ll find many details of the two-day festival.

It makes a great break from the work of actually writing, researching and planning the novel, and a real stimulus for the writer’s imagination.

If you’re not able to make it to Hull, you can easily order my books, including the new one, by following this link to the publisher’s site. Or you can find War Over Dust at your local Amazon store here, and the earlier book in the Generation Mars series, Blood Red Dust, here. Enjoy the read!

By the way, I’m still happy to provide a free digital copy of War Over Dust in return for an honest review. If you’re interested in this offer, please use the ‘Contact’ tab to access the form and send me your email address and say whether you’d prefer to have a .Mobi, .PDF, or .ePub file and I’ll send it as soon as I can. Thank you.
