My novel, Breaking Faith, a Romantic Thriller is set in England and Scotland during the extended drought and heatwave of 1976, 50 years ago.
We’ve just suffered (or enjoyed, depends on your love or hate of heat!) another unusual heatwave here in England. It didn’t last as long this time, and many places continued to have rainfall. But the book may remind those who were around at the time, and inform those who were not, of that event half a century ago.
You can buy the book in paperback from the publishers here, for ยฃ7.99.
Or it’s available in digital form from Amazon, Draft2Digital, or your local supplier here.
Enjoy the read. If you’d like to see more about the book, please pop up to the top of this post and select the ‘Books & Other Published Works’ tab, where you’ll find a drop-down menu and select either Thriller or Romance, as the book is a romantic thriller.

This is actually my first published novel, Noelle. Published in 2008 through a scheme organised and part funded by the Arts Council, England.
I just thought the 50th anniversary was a useful reminder to potential readers due to the coincidence of timing.
