#ScenicSaturday11th May 2024:

This continuing series of posts depicts our beautiful world, encouraging viewers to share them and help save our unique home from human carelessness and indifference.

Today’s photo is of the amazing natural feature known as ‘Rocky Valley’ in Cornwall. It is aptly named. Steep, confining a lively stream, lined by precarious paths, and full of rocky outcrops, it presents a challenging but rewarding walk for those fit and brave enough to venture there. Definitely worth the effort!

    1. It’s a good distance, Noelle, but You’d get plenty of rests out of 12 hours, if you could find somewhere to sit, of course. We walk in the forest here every day, so we’re quite used to steep climbs and wandering tracks, and mud! But, yes, this one is a challenge.

        1. I can understand that, Noelle. But, for me, rest stops, especially if they have be done standing, are definitely not helpful for me. I generally take a mile or so to get my knees back into some sort of flexible state when I’ve been static for any length of time.
          But, tea? Yes, please!
