My photos in this continuing series show our beautiful world. I hope to encourage viewers to help save it from human carelessness. Today, I show you a scene photographed on a boat trip around Lake Maggiore in the Italian mountains. It was taken toward the end of the day, when the sun was about to set. I loved the way the haze separated the individual layers of the mountains as they receded into the distance.
