    1. Thanks, Brenda. It’s the River Wye, which runs down from the mountains in Wales and forms part of the boundary between Wales and England. Much of the river valley is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), which gives it some protection from development. The river flows past the bottom of our village.
