Thanks, Joni. Amazing what a little manipulation can do to a tiny lump of white coral, eh?

I thought that might be coral. It was absolutely beautiful. Very creative my friend. I like what you do with ice also. Sending love. ❤️❤️Joni

Thanks, Joni.
My mum was a gifted painter and I enjoyed drawing as a child. But I never found the time to develop that skill to a good level, so making images with the camera was my chosen option. With film it was both expensive and time consuming. But modern digital editing software is relatively cheap (unless you opt for the overblown Photoshop) and the early parts are easy to learn. I’m still learning the more complex bits, but enjoying that process. I just love making pictures.

That is interesting about your mum. Not surprising that there was talent that you inherited. I imagined you still learned an awful lot about the process when you worked with film. Your work and talent is multifaceted and beautiful your talent. I have tried some basic editing software and I struggle with it. Sending you two best of next week. Love ❤️ Joni

Thank you, Joni. I think I get my ‘eye’ from my Mum. My stepdad was a photographer – brilliant technically but not a creative bone in his body!
I use Adobe Lightroom, which is quite easy to learn and use – there are two versions, a straight buy, and a subscription where you pay each month. Mine’s the bought version.
But I have also bought Affinity, which is a very reasonably priced but comprehensive piece of software. I’m still learning that one, when I find the time.

I also thought that it’s coral. The blue tone gives it an other-worldly vibe!

Then my image manipulation worked, Lynette. Thank you, that was my intent.

This one is a little scary. All right a lot scary. It is something out of a Sci/fi thriller, right?

It’s amazing what can be imagined from a tiny lump of mystery seated on the windowsill of a holiday cottage, Brenda. I posted this as inspiration for ideas, and a spur for the imagination.
For an answer ot its origin, see Noelle’s comment above, and my response.
