#Words and #PictureOfTheDay: 16/May/22

Dark under shadows

soft ground hides heavy footsteps

paced by lone walkers

(((((((((((—-))))))))))

These posts were scheduled to continue the series, as I’m offline at present. I can’t respond to comments, likes, follows, or questions. But, please interact. I’ll do my best to catch up with everything on my return.

In future, I’ll post a picture of natural beauty once a week instead of daily. Daily photo posts have somewhat overtaken a website I set up to talk about books and writing, and this has taken a back seat for some time.
I started with the Covid pandemic, when many people were confined to their homes, unable to get out and enjoy nature. It’s time for me to return to my writing, which also tends to encourage a love of nature, even when the stories may be set in an unfamiliar environment. If you’d like to spread joy in our wonderful planet and encourage respect and responsibility for it, why not share these posts on social media (‘share’ buttons below make it easy), comment with your thoughts, and help sustain our environment for the future? Thank you. After all, Earth’s our only home.

More pictures appear in the Gallery.
And, here, you can view over 2000 images for book covers, calendars, greetings cards, jigsaws, advertising, or whatever you fancy online, or as art quality prints to decorate a room.
The small fee covers costs and helps me maintain and buy expensive equipment and software quality digital photography demands. Unlike some artists, I dislike exclusivity and prefer everyone to afford my work. As it’s easy to reproduce, treating photography otherwise seems elitist to me.

    1. Thank you, Tom. I’ll do my best to delete your old address, but I’ll be honest, I have no idea even where to start. But, hey, I like a challenge! It may take me a little while, though.

        1. Enjoy your trip, Joni. Ours turned out to be less than brilliant, but we took some beautiful, long walks under a bright sun. I shot 980 pictures!
