Pictures to inspire words or images. Poem, story, play, novel, memoire, essay, painting, drawing, sculpture, or another photograph? Up to you. Or simply enjoy the pictures. My image is untitled to avoid guidance. But the title, not always helpful, is here.
If you use the prompt, please post a link to your work, or the work itself, in the comments section, if you wish. Alternatively, please credit me by linking to this post, so more people see both our creations.
Have fun and get those creative juices flowing.
Occasionally, inspired by the image, I’ll write here.

Tamaracks are so gorgeous in the autumn.

Tamaracks are what give North America its ‘spectacular fall’ reputation, I guess. These are the European version of the larch, and do the same thing here. Those needles turn golden in autumn and then drop to carpet the ground with a wonderful soft surface to deaden the sound of footsteps.

Wow, a great path to wander through surrounded by beautiful fall colors with the sun peeking through the branches. Thanks for posting.

Thanks, Joni. It has yet to arrive here in reality. This is from last autumn. But it’s on the way.
Same to you and Scott.

This is from last year, Noelle. But it’s definitely on its way – though temperatures here are unseasonally warm at present.

Same here – we’re supposed to have a warmer than usual winter, which is saying a lot because our winters are hardly cold.

We’re currently experiencing temperatures more usual in September, and no real sign they’re about to fall.
