#PictureOfTheDay and #writingprompt: 15/Oct/21

Pictures to entertain, interest, and inspire you to create with words or images. Poem, story, play, novel, memory, essay, painting, drawing, sculpture, or another photograph? Up to you.  You can, of course, just enjoy the pictures. My image is untitled to avoid directing you. But the title, not always a help, is here.

If you use the prompt, you can post a link to your work, or the work itself, in the comments section, if you want. Please credit me by linking to this post, to allow more people to see both our creations.

Have fun and get those creative juices flowing.

Sometimes, I’ll include my writing inspired by the image:

What whirls curls and curves
lie within your icy coat
and hide your secrets

A fifty-million-year-old fossil was discovered and photographed by a talented author/photographer while taking a stroll. 😉

    1. I can see your clam, Brenda. Mind you, I think you’d find the mud a little less to your taste than the real thing! I’m with you on the calamari – too rubbery for my liking. But I do love a good marinare pasta dish.

  2. This is one of those amazing ice photographs you do. This looks like mid-evil armor tossed aside. Great job. You two have a fabulous weekend. Love ❤️ to you both. 🦋
