Pictures to entertain, interest, and inspire you to create with words or images. Poem, story, play, novel, memory, essay, painting, drawing, sculpture, or another photograph? Up to you. You can, of course, just enjoy the pictures. My image is untitled to avoid directing you. But the title is here.
If you use the prompt, you can post a link to your work, or the work itself, in the comments section, if you want. Please credit me by linking to this post, to allow more people to see both our creations.
Have fun and get those creative juices flowing.
Sometimes, I’ll include my writing inspired by the image.

The surrounding rocks do look dangerous, Thattamma, but the ground around the edges of this small sea lake are quite smooth. And the water is frequently renewed by the tides and when the sea is washed in by high winds. It’s been in use for many years by both locals and tourists.

I’ve been a photographer for as long as I’ve been a storyteller, Jeff. I was raised by a reader, a photographer, and an artist.

Interesting- there were at least two people seemingly taking pictures in your direction, too.

Yes, Lynette, I expect the boat carrying us made a good picture for those on the land.

A busy swimming hole, filled with water from the ocean on the other side, I presume?

Yes Noelle, it’s filled at high tide and during stormy weather by the Mediterranean Sea from which the shot was taken as we sailed by on a wonderful, warm, sunny evening.
