    1. I think that’s down to the lack of trees and buildings Lynette. It belongs to the National Trust and they keep it well maintained. The lack of trees is down to the prevailing winds, though there are parts of the peninsula where they do grow. It’s just part of a long stretch of spectacular coast, almost all of it accessible

I love the magnificent view of the blue water, the sky, and the lovely green grass. when I first looked at the aged fence is appeared to be made of concrete, but upon closer look, I could see a new post replacing one or new wood. It would be a temptation to climb over the fences to look down at the rocky shore. A wonderful peaceful scene and you captured it to highlight it perfectly.

    1. Thanks, Brenda. Definitely wood – it’s been well weathered by the sea breezes over the years.
      But you don’t need to climb the fence. You can enter the area behind it through the gate at the end of the road, and there is a lot of clifftop available to walk along, all with great views.

    1. It is pretty spectacular, Noelle, and has the advantage that it is far from any large town or city. You’d need to choose your day for a picnic; it can get a bit windy. But we spent a lovely week in this location.
