I saw many things, but not a footprint! Even though I couldn’t figure out what it was, it was fascinating. thanks for posting.

A bit different from Friday’s famous footprint in the sand, eh, Brenda? This was the only definite one I found on a long walk across icy puddles.

I can’t stop looking at this, Stuart. This is a footprint? It almost looks like an aerial view of a sandbed.

I love the way undisturbed ice forms abstract patterns. It’s especially varied when the ground beneath is porous so the liquid water can be drained away. Always a fertile subject for pictures for me.

It was the only ‘complete’ footprint I found on a longish walk covered in iced puddles, Noelle.
