Today’s Pictures: 5 Feb 21

‘I have two doctors, my left leg and my right leg.’    George Macauley Trevelyan

With the daily shot from my local forest walks, I’m including another shot of the wider world, not always entirely ‘natural’, to satisfy those who love to see some water in the pictures.

Share these posts on social media with friends and followers and we’ll reach more people. It’ll also show off our wonderful world. Who knows, between us, we might even restore some love and respect for nature and slow down the daily damage we inflict on our environment? Thank you.

If you enjoy my pictures, you’ll find many more in my professional gallery, here. A small selection is also available via the ‘Gallery’ tab at the top of this page.

  2. Brenda has a great sense of humor. I loved her joke. Your picture of the path today in the forest is amazing Stuart. Thank you for sharing it with us.

On another note I am going to have to try and get with you and find another week to collaborate on a post. Scott lost his mom today and as he is much younger than me he has never lost anyone close before. I know it hasn’t hit him yet. I know your busy I just don’t want to commit to any date right now. I know you understand. I definitely hope we can still do it as I would love it. Love you two. Enjoy your week and take great care of each other. 💕🤗❤️

    1. Oh, Joni! Please let Scott know we’re thinking of him. I lost my Mum when I was 16, so I know the sort of grief that will come to him. I know you’ll support him through this; the funeral may well be the point where it truly hits him.
Please don’t worry about the collaboration; you’ll have enough to concern yourself with for a while. You two keep safe and take care. x

      1. You are a sweet heart Stuart but then I already knew that. Thank you for your kindness, it is dear to me and it hasn’t hit him yet. We will have to travel to WA State for the funeral but that will be for a bit. Scott said to tell you both thank you for your gracious thoughts and that they are so appreciated. My love to Valerie too, thank you both. love and hugs, Joni

    1. Yes, Lynette. Simple exercise, requiring no equipment other than some good walking footwear. And uplifts the spirits as well as keeping you fit. We’re taking part in a ‘challenge’ here in UK. The idea is you commit to walking 1,000 miles over the year, which works out at about 2.73 miles a day. There’s a group on FaceBook where you can record your efforts. It’s good motivation, especially for those days when the weather could be better!

  3. Your friend has a good Doctor, and there aren’t any co-pays. We spent some of our stimulus money on some exercise equipment, Hope they don’t rust or die of boredom. Love the picture of the tall trees and the snow-covered path.
