  4. We missed fall colors this year – for some reason very few trees were colorful. I think it has something to do with how much rain we get and weather there is a cold snap.
    I do prefer that cove – I can see myself jumping into the water!

    1. It’s like that here, too, Noelle. Last year our autumn colours were muted. It’s definitely something to do with the weather. This year, October was very wet, following a warm summer, and most of the trees have turned before dropping their leaves.
      I knew you’d like the sea shot. Mind you, swimming under those cliffs would be a bit dodgy!

    1. Thank you, Joni. Autumn is a season of contrasts and subtle changes, so often reflected in its colours. We’ve had a few days of variable weather here. And we’re due some more; this weekend is expected to be stormy, so I expect the remaining leaves will be swept off the few trees now bearing them.
      We’ll still go out, but watch for a less wet spell, and keep eyes and ears open for possible falling branches and trees!
