Just around the end of this promentary, Lynette, is a major bird sanctuary. To my shame, I never got round to visiting it when I lived in the area! One of these days…

Yes, they’vealways fascinated me, too. We love to watch the buzzards as they soar over the forest.
Bempton cliffs, as the bird sanctuary in East Yorkshire is known, was always too close and therefore taken for granted, you know, one of those places we could visit whenever we wished, so actually never went!
