Today’s Pictures: 17 July 20

It’s always fascinated me how tenacious life can be. This tree appears to be rooted entirely in rock, yet it must be getting its nutrition and water from somewhere else!

All over our wonderful world there are people who can’t get out and enjoy nature at the moment. With this series, I’m trying to brighten their days by posting pictures of natural beauty.

Part of the rocky coast in North Devon. Taken in April 2012.

If you get pleasure from this, please do what you can to share it widely, so others can enjoy it, too. Thank you.

    1. Yes, plants in particular will grow anywhere there’s a possibility of existence, even if short. Sometimes we past a fallen branch with no connection to a tree, yet often they manage to produce leaves and flowers. The urge to pass on the genes is clearly very strong.
