Season’s Greetings

And to all those who celebrate other seasonal events at this time, Season’s Greetings!

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all my readers, visitors, partners in word-wrangling, and friends for your continuing support. To those who have ‘liked’ my posts, I want to say many thanks. To those who have ‘shared’ my posts and/or reviewed my books, I’d like to express my sincere gratitude: such activity helps spread the word, gain readers, and introduce new people to my work. Thank you all very much!

As for the coming year, who knows? My daughter, Kate, came home from Australia on 4th December, with her boyfriend, Josh. He asked her to marry him whilst they were visiting his grandma in Holland; no surprise she said ‘Yes!’, so the coming year (or maybe next) could involve a trip somewhere to cement that happy union.

In the meantime, I’ll attempt to keep you entertained and informed and distracted from your writing. The Creative Writing Contests Table is as up to date as I can make it at present, but I’ll be doing more to that in January, so make sure you visit the Resources tab, where you’ll find the link. There’s also a useful pair of lists of first names for males and females if you’re looking for those for either your characters or your children. Free, of course.

But that’s me done for this year, apart, of course, from the two posts I’ve scheduled for the coming week. Enjoy!

    1. Thanks, Bojana. Not sure, yet, when that will happen, but I’ll be sure to post it here. This morning, Kate and her fiance rose early to walk down to the river at the bottom of our village so she could take some pictures of the sunrise. Looking out of my study window, I’m not sure she’ll get much other than a grey sky, though!
