Just taking time out to wish all my friends, readers, followers, and visitors a very happy new year.

I generally make only one resolution each year: to not make any resolutions. (Don’t you just love a paradox?) But this time, I’m determined to keep a positive outlook and try very hard to share only those things that may have a good impact on this flawed world we’ve created.

For now, I’m offline for a while, celebrating with the wonderful woman I love, my wife, Valerie, who shares my life and brings me so much joy.

See you all on the other side of midnight. By which I mean some time tomorrow when I’m awake, compos mentis, and possibly even sane!

    1. Thanks, Mick. And, as you’ve guessed, my Facebook ‘birthday’ is the generic 1st of Jan, so I don’t broadcast my actual birthday to the world. But I will be 70 later this year.
